The reporters who chased the ambulance didn’t know what information they would get, but those who stayed behind felt that the follow-up development was quite exciting.

Not long after the ambulance left, a young man stumbled into the door of the hotel. He rushed to a group of reporters, pulling on this and that, crying and complaining, “My girlfriend was taken to this hotel. She called me to rescue her. Please help me rescue my girlfriend.”

So a group of reporters and photographers, led by Song Jing, broke into the hotel. There were so many people that they swarmed in and the security guards couldn’t stop them. Soon, Song Jing led a group of people to the door of Zhao Tianer’s room. Afterwards, when the emergency doctor came out and announced that the patient had alcohol poisoning and was going to be hospitalized, the reporters saw that there was no more information and because they heard that the group of people who stayed in the hotel had discovered Su Jie’s new relationship, they all retreated in frustration.

After everything settled, Lu Yan calmed down. After thanking Gao Xizhe and sending him away, he took Song Hui back to the ward. 

There were not many people in the hospital today. Only Xu Yuan was occupying the three-person ward. Song Hui locked the door as soon as he entered.

Hearing the sound of locking the door, Xu Yuan’s body hidden under the quilt trembled, and Lu Yan said coldly, “Are you going to come out on your own, or shall I catch you out?” Probably thinking of what he had just experienced, Xu Yuan got out of the quilt tremblingly. He had just had his stomach washed and his face was still very pale.

“Tell me, why are you hurting me? We have no grievances in the past and no enmity these days. I think I’ve been pretty good to you, and you’re going to repay me like this?”  Lu Yan sat far away on a chair, folding his hands, while Song Hui stood aside and glared at him with an aura that could kill him.

“Brother Lu, I’m sorry, but I didn’t mean to hurt you. I was forced to do it.” Xu Yuan’s lips trembled and looked at Lu Yan pitifully.

Lu Yan was unmoved, “Who forced it?”

“I, I don’t know.” Xu Yuan said cautiously.

After being silent for a while, Song Hui glared at him, and Xu Yuan trembled again and said, “He called me and promised me that as long as I can bring you into the hotel tonight, he will let me play the leading role.”

“Do you believe him so much?”

“He asked me to go to the crew to find the director to sign a contract. I looked carefully and he didn’t lie to me.” Xu Yuan explained seriously.

Lu Yan sneered, “You’re not stupid.”

“Who says I can’t understand? Don’t make excuses for your despicability. Anyone may encounter misfortune, but not everyone will become a villain.” Luk Yin stood up disdainfully and gave Song Hui a quick glance, “let’s go”

When he got home after struggling for half a night, he received a call from Su Mo.

“No need, the matter has almost been resolved. I’m fine. Don’t work so hard.” Lu Yan said softly.

There was a soft response, and then he said, “Do you know who wants to harm you?” 

Lu Yan’s voice was a little low, “I don’t know yet.”

He paused for a while and then said, “I listened to Su Jue’s general explanation and felt that the breakthrough should be with Song Jing, so I asked someone to check who he had been close to recently. It turned out that there were three people, namely Yi Chun, Zuo Bin and Ke YuZhuo. Have you heard of these three names?”

When he heard one of the names, Lu Yan was stunned for a moment, an unknown emotion surged up, and he felt that the voice in his ears had faded away. After a long time, he came back to his senses and said slowly, “I think I probably already know who did it.”
